Digital Content Terms
Terms of Sale
These Terms of Sale (the “Terms”) govern purchases of digital products made through this online store. The legal operator of the store is referred to as the “Seller”, “we”, “us” or “our”. The purchaser is referred to as the “Customer”, “you” or “your”. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms, subject always to any mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
1. Scope of these Terms
These Terms apply to downloadable digital products offered through the store, including STL files, 3D-printable model files, supporting digital assets, archives, updates and related downloadable content (collectively, “Digital Products”). Unless a product listing expressly states otherwise, no physical item is supplied or shipped.
2. Product descriptions and digital nature
Digital Products are supplied in the file format, configuration and content described on the relevant product page. Product images, renders, screenshots, printed examples and promotional visuals are illustrative and may differ from the result produced by a particular printer, slicer, resin, filament, support strategy, scale or print setting.
You are responsible for reviewing the product description, file format, intended scale, compatibility information and any stated technical requirements before purchase.
Products marked Upcoming are informational catalogue previews only. They are not available for purchase, reservation or preorder, and their display does not constitute a commitment to release them on any particular date.
3. Eligibility, connection security and checkout information
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract in your jurisdiction. Orders are placed as guest orders; no customer account is created on the storefront as part of checkout. Information supplied during checkout must be accurate, current and complete.
The Seller retains order records and the customer information provided at checkout so that purchases can be identified and verified where reasonably necessary for delivery, support, fraud prevention, accounting, legal compliance and order-related requests.
For security and fraud-prevention purposes, access to the store, checkout or download services may be restricted when a connection uses a VPN, proxy, Tor connection or another technology that hides, masks or materially alters the apparent public IP address. Where access is blocked for this reason, you may be required to reconnect using a normal, non-masked internet connection.
4. Orders, duplicate purchases and selection errors
Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected Digital Products. An order may be refused or cancelled before or after payment where reasonably necessary because of payment failure, suspected fraud, pricing or listing error, technical malfunction, legal restriction, duplicate transaction, abuse, sanctions requirements or another legitimate reason.
If a paid order is cancelled by the Seller and the Digital Product has not been validly supplied, the amount charged for the cancelled item will be refunded using an appropriate payment method, subject to applicable law.
If the same Digital Product is accidentally purchased twice, the Customer may contact support. Once the duplicate purchase has been verified, the duplicate item may be refunded or exchanged for another Digital Product of equivalent purchase value.
The Customer is responsible for reviewing the cart and selected products before confirming payment. Because digital download links are issued automatically after a successful order, a voluntary refund or exchange is not normally available where the Customer simply selected the wrong product and the Digital Product has already been supplied. This does not affect mandatory consumer rights or remedies for defective, non-conforming or incorrectly supplied content.
5. Prices, taxes and currency
Prices are those displayed at checkout at the time the order is placed. Prices, promotions and discount offers may change at any time before purchase. Taxes may be calculated, collected or displayed according to the Customer’s location and applicable law. Currency conversion, bank charges or payment-provider fees imposed by third parties are outside the Seller’s control.
6. Payment
Payment must be successfully authorised before Digital Products are released unless another arrangement is expressly offered. Payments are processed through third-party payment services. The Seller may use fraud-prevention or transaction-review systems before completing an order.
7. Digital delivery
Digital Products are normally made available electronically after successful payment and order processing, primarily through download links sent to the email address supplied during checkout.
For security and anti-abuse purposes, each purchased product is normally limited to three downloads. The limit applies separately to each product in an order. The original download entitlement is count-based rather than time-based: unused downloads do not automatically expire solely because time has passed.
If a connection failure, interrupted transfer, storage-device failure, hard-drive issue or comparable technical problem causes the Customer to exhaust the download limit or lose the files, the Customer may request a complimentary reset within 30 days from confirmation of the paid order. After the order has been verified, the Seller may issue a new download email providing up to three new downloads for the affected product.
The 30-day period applies to complimentary resets and reissues, not to the expiry of unused downloads. Customers should nevertheless download purchased files promptly and maintain a secure personal backup. After the 30-day support period, if the Customer no longer has the files and requires a new copy, a new purchase may be required, except where mandatory law or a non-excludable statutory remedy provides otherwise.
Customers are strongly encouraged to retain their order confirmation, payment confirmation and download emails. These records can assist the Seller in locating and verifying a past guest order if support is later required.
8. File access, defects and troubleshooting
If a purchased file is missing, corrupted, incomplete or technically inaccessible, you should use the support mechanism made available through the store. Where a genuine defect or failure to meet the Seller’s obligations is verified, the usual remedy is to correct or update the affected file and provide the corrected version.
Depending on the circumstances, the Seller may instead issue a refund or offer replacement with another Digital Product of equivalent purchase value. The 30-day download-support period described above governs voluntary restoration of download access and does not limit any mandatory legal rights or statutory remedies relating to defective, non-conforming or incorrectly supplied digital content.
9. Printer, software and material compatibility
Digital Products are supplied without pre-generated print supports. Modern slicing software can generate supports automatically, and the Customer is responsible for choosing support settings appropriate to the printer, resin or filament, orientation, layer height and print profile.
3D-printing results depend on equipment and settings outside the Seller’s control. You are responsible for your printer, slicer, software version, orientation, calibration, resin or filament, exposure settings, layer height, maintenance and other production variables.
Unless expressly promised in the product description, compatibility with every printer, slicer, operating system, material, scale or workflow is not guaranteed. A failed print caused by hardware, software, calibration, support settings, material choice, user settings or handling does not by itself establish that the underlying Digital Product is defective.
10. Licence granted to the Customer
Unless the relevant product listing expressly grants broader rights, each purchase grants the Customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download, store and use the Digital Product solely for personal, private and non-commercial purposes.
For personal use, you may modify the STL files and prepare them for printing, including slicing, adding supports, changing scale, splitting or combining parts, kitbashing, arranging components or making other technical or creative adjustments for your own non-commercial use. These permissions do not transfer ownership of the Digital Product or create any right to redistribute the original or modified files.
You may also give occasional physical prints made from the Digital Product to friends or family free of charge, provided the activity remains genuinely personal and non-commercial. The Digital Product itself, including original or modified STL files, must never be shared with the recipient.
11. Prohibited uses
Unless separately authorised in writing or expressly permitted by a specific product licence, you must not:
- sell, resell, sublicense, rent, gift, share or otherwise transfer the Digital Product or any copy of it;
- upload or distribute files through file-sharing services, repositories, forums, groups, cloud folders or any system accessible to third parties;
- share download links, access credentials or purchase entitlements with another person;
- sell, manufacture for sale, fulfil on demand, or commercially exploit physical prints made from the Digital Product;
- use the Digital Product for a business, school, club, institution, print farm, reseller or commercial production activity unless an appropriate licence expressly permits it;
- convert, alter, remesh, split, combine or otherwise modify the Digital Product for the purpose of redistribution, resale or circumvention of these Terms;
- remove or circumvent technical restrictions, licence controls or access protections;
- use the Digital Product in violation of applicable law or third-party intellectual-property rights.
12. Intellectual property and third-party rights
Purchase of a Digital Product transfers only the limited usage rights expressly granted under these Terms or the applicable product licence. It does not transfer copyright, design rights, trademarks, trade dress, database rights or other intellectual-property rights.
Any third-party names, marks, fictional universes, designs or references that may appear in product descriptions or imagery remain the property of their respective rights holders. Unless expressly stated, no sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation or licence from any third-party rights holder is implied. Nothing in these Terms grants the Customer rights in third-party intellectual property beyond what is permitted by applicable law.
13. Personal backups
You may keep reasonable backup copies solely for your own licensed use. Backup copies remain subject to the same restrictions as the original files and must not be made accessible to third parties.
Because long-term re-download access is not guaranteed after the 30-day download-support period, you are responsible for maintaining a reliable personal backup of purchased files once they have been successfully downloaded.
14. Updates, corrections and file revisions
The Seller may correct errors, improve geometry, optimise files, replace archives or issue updated and higher-quality versions. Unless expressly promised, future enhancements, alternate poses, additional parts or new versions are not guaranteed to be included in a prior purchase.
Once more than 30 days have passed since confirmation of the paid order, granting complimentary access to a later updated version is at the Seller’s discretion and is not guaranteed. This does not affect any update, conformity or remedy that applicable law makes mandatory.
15. Right of withdrawal and cancellation for digital content
Consumer withdrawal rights vary by jurisdiction. Where the law provides a withdrawal period for digital content, immediate supply before the end of that period may require your prior express request or consent and, where applicable, your acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal will be lost once performance begins. Any statutory withdrawal right is affected only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Except where required by law, a voluntary refund is generally not available after a Digital Product has been supplied, accessed or downloaded because digital content cannot meaningfully be returned. This does not affect statutory remedies for defective, non-conforming or incorrectly supplied digital content.
16. Statutory consumer rights and conformity
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any statutory consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where mandatory digital-content conformity rules apply, you may be entitled to remedies such as correction, replacement, price reduction, termination or refund in the circumstances provided by law.
17. Refunds and discretionary remedies
Where a genuine defect or failure to meet the Seller’s obligations is confirmed, the Seller will ordinarily seek to correct or update the affected file. Depending on the circumstances, an appropriate remedy may instead be a refund or replacement with another Digital Product of equivalent purchase value.
Outside mandatory legal rights, any additional commercial remedy may be assessed case by case and does not create an obligation to provide the same remedy in future cases.
18. Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you believe a transaction is incorrect, duplicated, unauthorised or associated with a genuine delivery issue, you should first use the support mechanism available through the store where reasonably possible. Fraudulent, abusive or knowingly false payment disputes may result in suspension of download access or future service to the extent permitted by law.
19. Physical prints and safety
The Seller supplies digital files, not finished physical objects. Any physical item created from a Digital Product is manufactured by the Customer or a third party chosen by the Customer. The Customer is responsible for printing conditions, materials, curing, ventilation, protective equipment, post-processing, structural suitability and safe handling.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Digital Products and resulting prints are not designed, tested or certified for medical, protective, food-contact, electrical, structural, safety-critical or child-safety applications.
20. Suspension and termination of licence
The Seller may suspend access to downloads or terminate the licence granted under these Terms where there is credible evidence of unauthorised sharing, resale, commercial exploitation, fraud, abusive conduct, misuse of download links or another material breach. Termination does not authorise continued use or distribution of files after the licence has ended, subject to mandatory law.
21. Store availability and third-party services
The store relies on third-party infrastructure, payment systems, hosting, content-delivery networks and other services. Temporary interruptions, maintenance, security incidents or third-party outages may occur. The Seller does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability at all times but may take reasonable steps to restore affected services.
22. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Digital Products are supplied on the basis of the specifications stated in the product listing and without guarantees concerning a particular artistic result, print success, commercial outcome or compatibility beyond any express commitments made at the time of purchase.
No statement in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees or remedies that applicable law makes mandatory.
23. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Seller is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of data, failed-print material costs, equipment damage caused by improper settings or materials, or losses arising from unauthorised or unlawful use of Digital Products.
Where liability may lawfully be limited, the Seller’s aggregate liability arising from a particular Digital Product will not exceed the amount actually paid for that Digital Product. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer rights and any other non-excludable liability under applicable law.
24. Customer responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that your acquisition, printing, possession and use of Digital Products complies with applicable laws, platform rules, intellectual-property rights and any restrictions relevant to your location or intended use.
25. Force majeure
The Seller is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including major network outages, hosting failures, cyberattacks, natural disasters, governmental measures, labour disruption, payment-network failures or other force-majeure events, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
26. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated to reflect changes in law, products, technology, business practices or store operation. Changes generally apply to orders placed after the revised Terms are made available. Existing contractual rights are not retroactively reduced where prohibited by law.
27. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law applicable to the Seller’s legal establishment, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in the Customer’s country of habitual residence. Nothing in these Terms deprives a consumer of protections that cannot be waived by contract.
Where applicable law requires access to consumer mediation, alternative dispute resolution, regulatory complaint procedures or a particular court, those rights remain available.
28. Business and institutional customers
If you purchase in the course of a business, professional, educational or institutional activity, consumer-only rights may not apply to the extent permitted by law. A separate commercial or institutional licence may be required for any use beyond the personal licence described above.
29. Severability and no waiver
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it later.
30. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the applicable product description, checkout information and any specific licence terms expressly presented at purchase, form the contractual terms governing the Digital Product. If a product-specific licence expressly conflicts with these general Terms, the product-specific licence controls for that particular product to the extent of the conflict.
